An extraordinarily rare 1999 Bugatti EB112 fetched close to $2 million at an auction in Monaco. The 1999 model was the last of only three examples of the car ever produced, and it had only 388 km on the odometer.
Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, the Bugatti EB112 flaunts its flowing lines and curvy body. You wouldn’t be able to tell that it’s a Bugatti. Perhaps, the only feature or element of this car that might give it away is its front fascia, especially the grille.

The Bugatti EB112 feels timeless even from the inside. Of course, there’s nothing digital that you would find. The instrument cluster surround, central dashboard, and door panels sport metal panels accented with a classic Perlée finish. The rear seats have an armrest, and the headrests are decorated with the Bugatti “EB” logotype.
The engine on the EB112 is a 6.0L naturally aspirated V12 that makes around 460 hp and 590 Nm. For the transmission, there is a 6-speed gearbox mated to an all-wheel-drive system. For a 1999 model car, doing 0-100 kmph in 4.3 seconds and achieving a top speed of 300 kmph is indeed commendable. But, hey, it’s a Bugatti after all.
