Chinese hypercar Star Razer aims to have 3000 hp, 342 mph top speed

A new challenger called Kosmera is stepping into the hypercar territory. It is a premium brand backed by the Chinese tech firm Dreame – the same company whose Nebula Next 01 Jet Edition hypercar claims a 0-62 mph time of just 0.9 seconds! Now, Kosmera has revealed ambitious plans for its upcoming Star Razer – an electric grand tourer that promises absurd figures.

The headline is that it will have over 3,000 horsepower. The Star Razer is expected to use a quad-motor setup, with dual-motor modules on each axle producing a combined 3,112 hp. This layout enables all-wheel drive as well as advanced torque vectoring for maximum control.

Kosmera is betting big on axial-flux motor technology. We guess it’s similar in concept to what is being used in the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe. Built using magnesium-aluminium structures with carbon-fibre reinforcement, these motors deliver an impressive power density of 81 hp per kilogram.

Performance claims are equally insane. A 0-62 mph sprint in just 1.7 seconds, 0-249 mph in 8.2 seconds, and a projected top speed of 342 mph. It raises serious questions about tyres, aerodynamics, and where you’d even attempt such speeds.

Powering it all is a battery pack exceeding 100 kWh, engineered to sustain high-performance driving, even over multiple Nurburgring laps. Massive carbon-ceramic brakes round off the package.

All this sounds extreme, and honestly, perhaps even unrealistic. But you never know. If Kosmera delivers, this could redefine the limits of electric hypercars.
